1979

    A. Peretti receives AWARD from the SJF (Schweizer Jugend Forscht) for work in Mineralogy in the Alps. Published by the Press, Swiss TV (production of short movie about field work of A. Peretti in the Alps) and noticed and priced by local Goverment (Kanton GR)

    Sponsorship from SJF for course at the Weizman Insitute in Rehovot (Israel) in the field of "Geochemistry". Radio interview (Zurich, Switzerland) with A. Peretti after return from Israel.

    GRS co-founds GEO-GRL Micro Analytic GmbH in Altdorf (Switzerland), specialized in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) of which Dr.A. Peretti is a Managing Director.

1999

    Foundating of GRS (Thailand) Co (Ltd), a gemmological laboratory in Thailand. Director Dr. A. Peretti.

    Increasing GRS by three new academic membres, Prof. Dr.W. Oberholzer (from SFIT, Zurich), Prof. Dr. B. Gobety (from University of Fribourg, Switzerland), PD Dr. J. Mullis (from University of Basel, Switzerland) as legally registered in the SHAB books of Switzerland.

    Expedition to the remote areas of Mogok (Burma, Myanmar) with extensive sampling ruby rough, sapphire rough and rock samples along a 30 km cross along the Mogok area.

    Expedition to Mogok (Burma) with extensive filming of mining activities in the region of Ohn Bin, Ohn Gaing, Pyen Pit, Chaung Gyi ecc as well as extensive sampling of spinel, fancy sapphires, rubies, moonstone, smoky quartz and aqmarine occurrences. Following up the acquisition of world most rarest gemstones Painite, Yeremeyevite and Poudretteite ecc. for GRS collection and research.
